Curso Provincial:
En este curso tienen preferencia los profesores de Primaria que imparten docencia de inglés y/o áreas no lingüísticas en inglés en secciones bilingües. En principio se admitirá un profesor de cada sección bilingüe, ampliándose a otros de estos centros bilingües y de los demás centros de primaria interesados.

CLIL refers to any dual-focused educational context in which an additional language, thus not usually the first language of the learners involved, is used as a medium in the teaching and learning of non-language content. In 1995 the European Commission adopted a document on education called “The White Paper. Teaching and learning. Towards the learning society”. It declares that proficiency in three community languages is a prior objective and suggests teaching content in a foreign language as a way to contribute to the achievement of this plurilinguistic objective.
Ø To acquire methodological resources to work with in the bilingual classroom.
Ø To provide teachers with examples of materials and activities to use in CLIL.
Ø To look for and select materials adequate for the primary bilingual classroom.
Ø To share teaching approaches and materials for the bilingual classroom.
Ø Methodology and approaches in CLIL.
Ø Analysis and development of materials suitable for CLIL.
Ø Analysis and share of teaching resources.
Ø Linguistic needs expressed by participants.
Teachers in Primary Education involved in Secciones Bilingües this academic year. In the case of any available places it will be open to other interested primary school teachers.
Be a Primary School teacher involved in Secciones Bilingües (1/2 per school, more if available places).
The emphasis will be on the acquisition strategies to organize a bilingual classroom. The course tutors will propose and present materials and activities to take over in class and the participants will analyze and discuss them. Participants are required to actively participate in the development of class activities and develop materials to use in the classroom and share them with other participants.
Process evaluation will be carried out when required to evaluate activities and teacher‘s and participants’ involvement in the course.
In the last session of the course both teacher and participants will evaluate the activity as a whole and will propose ideas and improvement for future courses.

Fri. Oct. 19th 17:00 – 20:00 and Sat. Oct. 20th 10:00 – 13:00
the rest of the days from 18:00 to 20:30 or 21:00

40 hours (28 face-to-face and 12 for compulsory work to share), equivalent to 4 credits.
Absenteeism, regardless of the reason, must not exceed 15% of the total course according
to current legislation.
